On December 23, 1984, David Ness cleared out his garage in north Portland, and began what is now known as Matrix Networks. Back then it was a one man operation, and he was the "Phone Guy." His determination in giving his customers the best service possible, and his knack for troubleshooting created a loyal following. Before long, he had enough customers to require bringing on a team of technicians, and Matrix Networks was born.
