YGA

Established in the 1960s as a residential treatment program, Youth Guidance Association (YGA) offers 24-hour supervision at its three locations today: Son Village and Charis Ridge for boys and Turning Point for girls. Each of the three programs administered by YGA provide 24-hour care, supervision, and behavioral rehabilitation services for youth whose problems at home, at school and in the community are severe and chronic enough to require placement in an environment with specific services and resources that are designed to address their identified issues. The goal is to empower the youth in their care to make healthy choices in life so they do not continue to be involved in self-destructive behaviors and relationships.

To help these youth further their education, YGA offers the Scholarship Endowment Fund to graduates of all three programs for a scholarship for college or vocation training. YGA Kids
